Virtual Homes A Reality
At Arrowhead Village

Imagine being able to “see” both the exterior and interior of a new home even before it is built. And not just the basic design, but what the home will look like after the homebuyer chooses the finishes and other detailing that puts a personal stamp on the property.

Now Arrowhead Village at Grand Elk Ranch & Club provides this exclusive service, the first and only one of its kind in Grand County.

Arrowhead Village is the latest residential offering at the exclusive Grand Elk Ranch & Club, the only club community in Winter Park/Grand County.

Bordering Grand Elk's Craig Stadler Signature Golf Course, Arrowhead Village is comprised of 86 single-family home sites featuring three distinctive models ranging in size from 1,900 to 2,400 square feet.

According to Steve Bromberg, Grand Elk's general manager, what is attractive to purchasers at Arrowhead Village, aside from the quality and location of the homes, is the ability to “build” their own homes using the latest in virtual technology.

To make this as easy as possible, Arrowhead Village's developers have created the Arrowhead Design Center, a cutting edge tool to provide the homebuyers with all the information they need to design and purchase their new home in a comfortable, creative environment.

A topographically correct site model provides an overview of the new community. Using the virtual technology, the buyer selects a home site and floor plan. As homes are sold, the site model is updated so buyers can easily identify which home sites are available.

Next, they'll choose an exterior look and an interior feel and, when finished, will begin building their new home, virtually of course, and take a virtual tour.

Three distinctive interior design packages are provided. Museum panels in the middle of the Design Center display samples of the quality interior and exterior finishes with their true color and texture combinations.

Around the perimeter of the room are attractive interior finish packages. Prospective homebuyers can open up the drawers and cabinets, feel the counter tops, and see the appliances.

When ready, the homebuyers can print out their own customized brochure, detailing all their individual choices and attach it to their homebuyer's contract. In addition, virtual renderings and floor plans of each of the three models will also be available on CD/DVD and can be mailed to interested homebuyers.

With such an extensive range of choices, each home will be as individual as its owner.

The Arrowhead Design Center will have a full time Sales Associate dedicated to the sale of the Arrowhead Village, able to answer any questions the homebuyers may have. The Sales Associate will be available to guide the homebuyers through the process from contract through the completion of the last item in their new home.

But the real thrill of Arrowhead Village is living there. Situated adjacent to holes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, access to the golf course is but a few steps away. Moreover, panoramic views encompassing the snowcapped peaks of the Continental Divide are stunning.

Arrowhead Village's enviable location allows its residents to fully indulge in the Colorado mountain lifestyle, which was the inspiration for Grand Elk Ranch & Club.

Here residents will enjoy less noise and more nature as well as a distinctive sense of community that is, as one owner noted, “Less formal and more fun.” Indeed, Grand Elk Ranch & Club harkens back to the days when Vail and Telluride, still largely undeveloped at the time, attracted residents because of a decidedly relaxed charm.

Bromberg noted that all Arrowhead Village homeowners will be members of the Grand Elk Club and enjoy privileges at the golf course, an Activities Center with the popular Untamed Grill restaurant, swimming pools and a hot tub, the private ski in/ski out Alpine Club at Winter Park Resort, and the Grand Elk Marina & Beach Club on the shores of Lake Granby.

In addition, the Club organizes numerous member events such as cooking classes, golf clinics and wine tasting.

In essence, the Grand Elk Club incorporates every recreational asset of Grand County, including its ski mountains, lakes, backcountry trails and much more. “That is unique in Grand County,” Bromberg said, citing the Club as a major element that sets Grand Elk apart from other Grand County developments.”

“All in all, Grand Elk Ranch & Club offers its residents a beautiful setting, a refuge with virtually all the amenities of a major mountain resort, and all at an attainable price,” he added.
